Trained in graphic design and museum studies I am interested in the theoretical and practical intersections of these fields.

My practice is largely concerned with examining constructs of natural/manmade spaces within an Australian, neo-colonial context. I am interested in how we form ideas of nature and wildness in environments that are increasingly shaped by human hands. I draw from environmental philosophers and from a female perspective. The above images are part of an ongoing series exploring these ideas and are taken in South Australia, New South Wales and Western Australia, in inland lake systems, deserts, minesites and caves.

I have worked in various capacities with museum collections across marine science, Indigenous collections and the performing arts. My design work has been commissioned for organisations such as Field Theory, New Music Network, Papunya Tjupi Art Centre and Speak Percussion, and been associated with projects held at Mona Foma (Tas), the Museum of Western Australia (WA), ANTI Festival of Live Art (Finland), Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (WA), Melbourne Writers Festival (Vic), Festival of Live Art (Vic) and Arts House (Vic).
