Howl Publication (Aphids)

Howl, which debuted at the 2016 Festival of Live Art, is a celebration of 15
significant moments in art history. Performed by three women to the score
of Mozart Howl celebrates art which has challenged the grain, stirred
controversy and caused disgust. The show is created as a sort of ritual
procession, starring a sculpture of Captain Cook, thousand of sunflower
seeds and a killer whale named Tilikum. As the designer for Aphids I worked
closely with the artists to design a 36-page, spot glossed publication which
was handed out during the performance to contextualise each act.
